Pricing tiers

Prices are divided into three tiers: Supporter (for those who can contribute a little extra to help subsidise access for others), Sustainer (the standard rate), and Supported (a reduced rate for those experiencing financial hardship). Current prices for Mini and Full services are listed on the Instrument Care page of my website.

Payment

Payment is due upon collection, either by cash or card. If you're an existing lesson student, charges can be added to your monthly invoice, in which case standard lesson payment terms and conditions apply.

Servicing

All work is carried out with reasonable care and to a professional standard. Instruments are accepted and serviced based on their condition at the time of drop-off. Set-up adjustments are carried out according to standard practice and customer preference where specified; however, final playability may be affected by factors including string choice, instrument age, and environmental conditions after collection.

Any additional work required beyond the agreed service will be discussed in advance where possible, and no additional work will be carried out without approval.

While every care is taken, no responsibility can be accepted for pre-existing faults, structural weaknesses, or issues that become apparent during or after servicing.
